Odysseuse has returned even though last book i just got eaten by a sixheaded Monster but any way. We came up dressed like beggers so no one would notice us. Book 12

We left the land of the Circe after we buried elphenor Odyseuss saw his dead mother in the underworld. circe warned us about the land of the sirens and how Odyseuss should not let us hear them or we will be attracted to them. The circe told us that the noises would attract us to the sound and we would go ashore an perish. The circe said that we should put beeswax in our ears so that we cannot hear the sound. Then we were warned about the drifting rocks that only can be avoided by taking a more dangerous way that went past Scylla the six headed monster. We must either risk six men or we can risk all of them said Circe. Then we all were killed or injured when our ship was hit by a lightning bolt that was sent by Zeus, the lightning split the boat in half.

Book 10

We traveled to the land of Aeolus which who Zeus named keeper of the winds. Aeolus gives Odysseus a bag of winds as a gift to help aim us in the right direction home. That did not work because a few idiots went an opened the bag because they thought it was gold. We could see home from a few yards an then the idiots went an opened the bag of winds. the winds sent us to the land of the Circe and Odysseus wanted us to explore, nobody was happy with Odyseusses decision but we had to follow our captain. During our journey we found a house that was surrounded by lions and wolves that were strange. Then luckily we ran into Hermes who pointed us in the right direction home. Then we ran into circes who was angry but our captai n used his wits to point us in the right direction home.

book 9

After identifying himself to the Phaeacians at the feast. Odysseus advises his men to leave immediately with their riches, but they ignore his warnings. The Cicones gather reinforcements, counterattack, and eventually rout the Greeks. Odysseus and his men retreat by sea. Storms blow the ships off course, but they finally arrive at the land of the Lotus eaters. Eating the lotus plant causes Odysseus’ men to lose memory and all desire to return home.

Odysseus barely gets them back to sea. The next stop is the land of the Cyclops lawless one eyed giants. One of them Polyphemus traps Odysseus and a scouting party in his cave. Only the Greek hero’s wily plan allows escape.
